Steven is a creative and gifted entrepreneur with a natural ability for detecting potential investment opportunities. His formal working career began in 1984 with a manufacturing apprenticeship within the UK's premier motor manufacturer, Parvalux. In tandem to developing a life-long interest in engineering, Steven explored his entrepreneurial interests initially within the property market. Investing in private and commercial real estate, he quickly marked up a number of significant wins. A long-term investment in Links of London created the third area of interest, retail. Thus was borne the business foundations for the Clark Group; engineering, property and retail.
After taking the helm of Parvalux as CEO in 2004, Steven brought the three areas of interest together within the Clark Group, thus cementing over twenty-five years business interests. With investments in a number of significant UK enterprises, Steven's contribution has been to facilitate and guide the overall strategic direction of each entity, as well as providing financial backing.
Steven brings a considerable enthusiasm and natural insight into the three business domains. His primary goal is to develop outstanding brands through businesses driven by gifted leaders. Aligning with talented and self-motivated people with congruent values, professional business practices and in-depth business understanding, Steven is committed to long-term investment that creates real value for both stakeholders and shareholders of each respective business. Thus his contribution will stand as a positive legacy for generations to come.

Justin is a business consultant with particular strengths within technology, automation and manufacturing industries. He works with private clients to identify and deliver platforms for sustainable growth. Client engagements typically cover all key business elements, from strategy through to process, business systems and resource allocation.
A pragmatic individual with over twenty years hands-on experience, Justin has held a number of high-profile commercial roles within industry. After studying aeronautical engineering, he spent his formative years developing his commercial expertise and at the age of 29, was appointed Managing Director of a UK division of a large Swiss plc.
After being sold to Schneider Electric, global no.2 for automation, Justin took leadership roles initially in Asia, with a focus on China, and then North and Latin America. This culminated in a general management position responsible for global activities for a high-technology division encompassing several notable industrial brands.
During a seven-year tenure, Justin was exposed to world-class brand development, participated in and led a number of significant re-brands and business turnarounds, most notably the re-positioning and subsequent disposal of the French CNC specialist, Num SA.
At the age of 36, and having a thirst for independence, Justin co-founded Futurestech S.a.r.l in Strasbourg in 2005, which achieved growth, quickly winning a succession of clients as far afield as Denmark, Germany, Belgium and the UK.
This led to a connection with Parvalux, the UK geared motor manufacturer, whereby early 2007, Justin joined them to take hands-on leadership in re-orienting the business towards growth. In the space of four years, revenue grew from £6M to £14M and the business was positioned for substantial growth. In addition, the business took the no.1 UK market leading position within its segment.
Justin is a partner within brand specialist, Futurestech Ltd, and consults to a number of private clients. He studied BSc (Eng.) at Imperial College (London University), completed his MBA at Kingston University Business School (London).
Gareth Morris is a Chartered Accountant. He qualified with Arthur Andersen in 1982, having taken a degree in Chemistry and Economics at University College of Swansea.
Life in industry beckoned and Gareth joined an entrepreneurial and fast-growing company, Bluebird Toys, which the following year floated on what was then the Unlisted Securities Market, the forerunner of AIM. A couple of acquisitions followed quickly and Gareth, as Finance Director, was instrumental in securing Regional Development aid to purchase and equip a factory in Merthyr Tydfil. Following a short period of consultancy work, Gareth then joined the retail division of Mulberry and worked closely with Godfrey Davis the current Chairman and CEO. Headhunted to join Hackett in 1992 as Finance Director, he was then promoted to Managing Director in 1997 and spearheaded its profitable retail and wholesale growth. In 2000, he joined John Ayton and Annoushka Ducas at Links of London. His role here was specifically to bring a disciplined structure to the organisational and financial side of the business, to complement the strong creative side. During this period he worked closely with the Clark Group, investors in the business. Links was successfully sold in 2006 to Folli Follie and Gareth left in 2007 to return again to consultancy work.
He is currently working with a variety of businesses, two of which are private-equity backed, where he is again bringing his organisational and financial skillsets to bear. Gareth believes that a clearly understood strategy throughout the business is essential, tied to a business plan with disciplined reporting against milestones and objectives. He is passionate about the management team and insists on a systematic recruitment process followed by mentoring and coaching to ensure continuous development.
